The 2013 Dodge Dart, a compact sedan from Dodge, was unveiled at the 2012 North American International Auto Show held on 9th January, 2012. Dodge did not reveal anything about its price and availability during the unveiling of car in Auto Show. However, recently Dodge has released the pricing details on the full range of Dart models. As per the announcement made by Dodge, the Dart will be presented with 5 different trim levels with base price ranging from $15,995 to $22,495. Certainly, the Dart will be cheaper than most of its major competitors including Ford Focus, Chevrolet Cruze and Toyota Corolla.

The 2013 Dodge Dart will be available in five trim levels namely SE, SXT, Rallye, Limited and R/T. The Dodge Dart SE has been priced at $15,995, SXT for $17,995, Rallye for $18,995, Limited for $19,995, and the R/T model for $22,495. Except R/T model, remaining models are expected to be in dealer showrooms by the month of June and for R/T model you have to wait until the third quarter of 2012.
The Dodge Dart SE will be powered by a 2.0-liter 16-valve “Tigershark” 4 cylinder engine, which can give an output of 160 hp (horsepower) and 148 foot-pounds of torque. The engine will be coupled with a six-speed manual transmission or with an optional six-speed automatic transmission. The SE model will be equipped with ten standard air bags, brake assist, 4 wheel disc anti-lock brakes, traction control, electronic stability control and many other safety features.
Plus, the model will have LED tail lamps, projector headlamps, a laminated windshield, and a body-color crosshair grille. The grandness of car will also be seen in the interior of the car. The interior will include a soft-touch instrument panel with bright accents, power windows, a six-way manual driver’s seat along with height adjuster, an AM/FM CD with MP3 player and many more. You will remain protected by a five-year and 100,000-mile powertrain warranty.
Next on the list is the SXT model. You will find all the equipments found in the SE in SXT model too. Besides these equipments, the SXT model will have 17-inch aluminum wheels, air-conditioning, sliding armrest, keyless entry, power door locks, power mirrors, six speakers, 60/40 split folding rear seat and a security alarm system. Users can also customize the car with the help of wide range of options available that will include an 8.4-inch touch screen, in-seat storage, Garmin navigation, power sunroof, rear backup camera and a 506-watt sound system.
The Rallye model will add some special color schemes unlike the first two models. The Rallye will offer distinctive front and rear fascias with color choices like Diesel Grey and Red Ruby. With changing exterior colors, the interior color scheme also changes accordingly. In addition to all previously mentioned basic things, the Rallye model will add black front fascia accents, head lamp bezels, and integrated dual exhaust with bright exhaust tips. It will be powered by a turbocharged 1.4-liter 4 cylinder engine that can give an output of 160 horsepower and 184 foot-pounds of torque.
The Limited model is going to include a number of technology features like a 7-inch TFT reconfigurable instrument cluster display, an 8.4-inch Uconnect touch screen along with a rear backup camera, projector fog lamps, a floating island bezel, automatic headlamps and lots more. And for the ultimate driving experience with lots of interesting features go for Dart R/T.
The R/T will be powered by a 2.4-liter four cylinder engine that can give an output of 184 hp (horsepower) and 171 foot-pounds of torque. The engine will be coupled with a six-speed manual transmission. It will include 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels, sport suspension, Nappa perforated leather seats, black headlight bezels, a unique performance fascia, dual-zone automatic temperature control, heated seats and a heated steering wheel, and many more making it worth for $22,495.
