This mid-size sport-utility vehicle comes in 10 colors such as ginger ale, tuxedo black, deep impact blue, frosted glass, ingot silver, Kodiak brown, oxford white, ruby red, sterling grey and white platinum. There are 4 different trim models of 2013 Escape: S, SE, SEL and Titanium.

Ford Escape is completely redesigned for the 2013 model. It has a sporty looking exterior. Compared to boxy Ford Escape, it gives off more swooping and sharper look. Active grille shutters on the car decreases the vehicle aerodynamic drag. The Kinetic Design of the car becomes very clear with the wrap around tail lamps, subtle Z-shaped lines, lower grill and sharp headlamps.
The interiors of 2013 Ford Escape are much improved, comfortable, spacious, sophisticated and stylish. Escape interiors also includes earth-friendly materials. The cushions and head restraints in the car use bio-based polyurethane foam derived from soybeans while the carpet is made up of post-industrial & post-consumer fibers obtained from recycled plastic bottles. The base model S sports 2.5L iVCT four-cylinder engine that deliver 168-hp with 170 Nm torque along with front-wheel drive whereas the SE and SEL models comes with two “EcoBoost” engines options: a 1.6L EcoBoost I-4 engine (delivers 178-hp and a torque of 184 Nm) and a 2.0L I-4 EcoBoost engine (delivers 240-hp and 270 Nm torque) and all-wheel drive. The Titanium model has only 2.0L EcoBoost® I-4 engine. All models are paired with an efficient 6-speed automatic transmission for efficient performance.
The base model comes with 6 cup holders, 17″ steel wheels, air conditioning, cloth seats, MyKey system and am/fm stereo with single CD player & six speakers. Safety features of this model are an anti-theft system; front, side and knee airbags as well tire pressure monitoring.
The SE model includes 17 inch alloy wheels, Ford SYNC, a Power Panoramic Vista Roof, a towing package, SiriusXM radio, MyFord Touch, Fog lamps , a cargo management system, SecuriCode Keypad, Four wheel drive and some chrome exterior trim.
The SEL model has 18″ painted alloy wheels, MyFord Touch, SiriusXM, leather seats, Heated exterior mirrors, Dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control, push button start, Power windows with driver’s one-touch up/down, HD radio, Ambient lighting, a Sony sound system, SEL technology package with push button start, reverse sensing, Parking Technology package and Ford’s trick hands-free lift gate.
The Titanium model adds many of the features provided in other models. It comes with 19″ Luster Nickel painted alloy wheels, HID headlamps, Remote start, Intelligent Access with push-button start, Hands-free liftgate, a Sony audio system with Sync, Silver roof rack side rails with two crossbars and Reverse Sensing System. In this model the navigation, Vista roof, towing, MyFord Touch and parking packages are optional.

The starting price of 2013 Escape S model is $22,470; SE model is $25,070; SEL model is $27,870 and Titanium model is $30,370. It will be released in 2013. No specific release date has been revealed by the company.
