As per the spy photo, you can see that the fourth generation model of Renault Clio will sport a sharper design with five-door model. It will also feature hidden rear-door handles to create the allusion of a three-door hatch. The appearance of the fourth generation Renault Clio is really attractive, which sports the French automaker’s latest design language that features bland new front fascia and logo theme and also smoother, curvier sheetmetal relatively with large headlamps, slabs of chrome under the windows and above the side skirts.
The picture of interior part is not revealed yet, but Renault insiders explained that the new Clio’s cabin will offer higher-quality materials and have more defined and emotional design. The regular model of Renault Clio is powered by latest trimmed turbocharged diesel and petrol engines, such as 0.9-liter turbocharged three-cylinder petrol that delivers 89hp (90PS) and 1.2-liter turbo petrol that delivers 115hp. Currently, the Renault is working on a racy RenaultSport (RS) version, so that there are more chances for Renault Clio MK4 to come with 1.6-litre turbocharged four-banger producing around 200hp.
The latest Renault Clio MK4 will ride on a little larger platform that will benefit both passenger and luggage space. The exterior styling of Renault Clio MK4 will be bolder than the current model and it is heavily inspired by Renault’s modern concept models like the DeZir coupe and the Frendzy minivan. It will get first appearance at the upcoming 2012 Paris Motor Show, which will be held in the end of September and go on sale shortly after.
