Ainol Novo 7 Crystal: Specs & Features of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Tablet

Recently, Ainol has expanded its Novo series with the launch of their first Android 4.1 Jelly Bean tablet (pre-installed) named Novo 7 Crystal. This tablet is the upgraded version of Novo 7 Elf II. This budget-friendly device will hit the market on 28th September with a price tag of 130 Euros (549 PLN) which is only 10 Euros more than Elf II.

Ainol Novo 7 Crystal comes with standard 7-inches display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels resolution. The screen is powered by IPS panel for providing support to capacitive touchscreen. The viewing angle of the screen is 170 ° which is better than IPS screens. It features 1.5 Ghz Amlogic 8726-M dual core processor and the best chip for the graphical processing, GPU Mali 400. It sports 1 GB of RAM along with latest DDR3 technology and 8 GB built-in storage expandable up to 32GB extended. The weight and measures of the device are 335 grams and186 x 126 x 10 mm.

There is a 2MP front facing camera that supports video shooting, 1080p Full HD video playback, photo and teleconference.The tablet supports over 20 file formats like MKV, WMV, RM, FLV, AVI, etc. It is equipped with 3700 mAh battery which provides up to 5 hours of battery life. Users are able to access Google play to download apps directly from the device. This tablet includes HDMI port so users can watch videos on the big TV screen . Users can also play video files larger than 4GB thanks to FAT32, EXFAT, NTFS, and multi-partitioned disk drives support.

It is integrated with 3 axis gravity sensor and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi connection. The tablet has no 3G but supports external 3G dongles so users can browse the internet anywhere and anytime. Other features of the device are mini USB port, MSN, HTML5, Flash, Skype and audio jack.
