Daily we hear that a new Android tablet has been launched. Irish tablet maker, Disgo has unveiled a tablet named Disgo Tablet 8104 to take the lead in cheap tablet market in the UK. The tablet runs on Android 4.0.3 OS (Ice Cream Sandwich), which makes it one of the first tablets to have Google’s latest Android OS out of the box. Top tablet manufacturers are still waiting to roll out Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade to their tablets, so Android 4.0.3 OS on this tablet is a good thing.

The Disgo Tablet 8104 comes with 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1024 x 600P. It is powered by 1.2 GHz Boxchip Cortex A8 ARM processor along with Mali 400 GPU and has 4GB internal memory, which can be expanded up to 36GB through microSD cards. It features a 3.5mm headphone, VGA front-facing camera for video calling, Stereo speakers, 512MB RAM and built-in microphone. The battery of the device is of 6500mAh, which provides up to 5 hours of usage. It is equipped with Disgo apps and Slide ME, which let the users to buy Android apps.
Users are not able to access the Google Play store and they have to install apps using the APK files download. This tablet has rich notifications, customizable home screens, easy multitasking as well as widgets & deep interactivity. It also features IEEE 802.11 b/g/n WI-FI capability, media viewing & listening in all popular file formats, Mini-HDMI output as well as access to popular social feeds. The tablet is compatible with almost all the digital contents. Disgo 8104 will hit the UK market in May for just £150 (around $240) at Amazon.co.uk, Play.com and other retailers.
