Japan’s third mobile operator company Softbank, which is usually known for its production of iPhone to the Japanese people, has now announced a Wireless TV Tuner with USB Recording i.e., a piece of hardware with the SB-TV03-WFRC. Though the Japanese are fond of the operating systems more, they also love to catch up on their desired TV shows too. The Japanese telecom maker has manufactured the TV tuner only for the ‘i’ devices. The device which is designed by Pixela looks a bit smaller than the Mac Mini. It will be available at an approximate price tag of 15,800 Yen .

The One-segment tuner has an integrated digital tuner which streams the TV content to thе iPad οr iPhone using Wi-Fi connectivity. The users can download a free app from the company’s StationTV that allows tuning into the TV-tuner’s WiFi. This no-name wireless TV tuner serves a second battery after the user plugs it up into his/her phone. When the user’s phone is docked, it still receives the WiFi signals with the tuner. SB-TV03-WFRC is a distinctive Digital TV Tuner with Ethernet, WiFi and SI-EPG. The device has SB-HD01-ORST/WH a 500GB external HDD designed TV tuner.
The SB-TV03-WFRC is compatible only with the iOS devices running either on iOS 5.0 or 5.1. The users can also surf the net using 3G even while watching the TV. The external hard disk drive USB Scheduled recording allows remote reservation such as chasing playback, height of convenience and recording functions. The device offers a dedicated stand which can be placed horizontally or vertically. The users can also watch and record the digital terrestrial wireless wave 3, the BS / CS digital broadcasting on the iPhone or iPad.
