Google has been a king in search industry with no major competition, but recently Yahoo has joined the battle to redefine Internet search and launched brand new browser called as Axis on Wednesday to make searching more visual and intuitive. Yahoo’s new browser enhancement tool alters browsers created by other companies to present search results in a more suitable format. Yahoo Axis browser app is currently available only to the iOS users from the iTunes store. Users are also able to install Axis as plug-in on most browsers used on desktop PC or laptops.

Axis browser is able to present search results in the panorama of visual thumbnails that you can scroll from top side of the webpage. To define internet query result, it gives previews of pages instead of traditional blue links. With this application, users can easily swipe from one web page to another, if they don’t like the shown result. As the searched result can be viewed in preview page, so users they can see what websites look like without opening the links. Currently, all major search engines are including more features to make searching more easy and discover the information without having to click from one page to the next.
Using this application, you can share tabs between various platforms just like Google’s latest iterations of Google’s Chrome browser. Social networking integration is also available in Axis application that makes sharing easier. When you jump on the site, it presents typical search bar and list of your bookmarked site. Axis search bar is offered with some trending topics as well as instantaneous search results when you begin typing your question. It will also pop up related search topics of your search before you finish the typing. It also provides users with the synching pages option across devices, so you will never lose movies times, driving direction or other pages that are left open on one gadget.
People can download Axis for desktop, iPad or iPhone at free of cost from axis.yahoo.com. Users can access their all bookmark on other device running Axis automatically. Axis app for android is not available yet, so you have to wait for some time. Maybe, this visual format of the search result will be the best for video commercials and graphical marketing.
