HTC, the Taiwanese manufacturer, released the HTC J Butterfly in Japan two months ago. After its huge success in Japan, the company has announced the International variant of Droid DNA under the name HTC Butterfly. The handset gets the similar features and specs of the original device (HTC J Butterfly). HTC Butterfly was first spotted on the HTC website by the EVleaks. There is no word about pricing of the HTC Butterfly, but it is expected to be launched before Christmas.
The device will sport a 5 inch display with a full HD display of 1080p and a pixel density of 440 PPI. It is expected to deliver better accuracy in terms of vibrant color output along with better sharpness. The screen of the device will get a Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection. The device will be equipped with an 8-megapixel rear facing camera and it will have a 2 megapixel front facing camera. The camera will feature LED flash, auto focus and BSI sensor which will help in capturing better images even in low light conditions.
The smartphone will run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system with HTC Sense. It will feature an internal storage of 16GB along with an expandable microSD card slot of 32GB. HTC Butterfly will be powered by 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. The device will get a strong and powerful battery of 2020mAh. It will get dimension of 143 x 70.5 x 9.08 mm and weigh about 140 gram. HTC Butterfly will get connectivity options such as Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI out, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, NFC and Micro-USB.
