Recently, Karbonn Mobiles has launched the Karbonn KT-21 Express mobile, with touch and type features and its second generation messaging solution. This device will be available with a price tag of 4,490 rupees. It comes with access to Karbonn Instant Messenger (KIM) and Karbonn Smart Mail (a push mail service). The phone is available in black color.
Karbonn Smart Mail service is powered by Emoze. It allows users to securely access both enterprise and personal email accounts, view office attachments, synchronize email contacts and calendar and send voice messages via email. KIM is a PIN-based real-time messaging app that allows users to chat with friends using the same mobile also with other friends by configuring Gtalk and Facebook on their devices. The NexgTV app, allows watching more than 50 live TV channels on the phone.
Karbonn KT-21 Express is a dual SIM phone (GSM+GSM) with 7.1 cm TFT QVGA capacitive touchscreen display. Multi-touch support offers improved touchscreen experience. For instant texting a traditional alpha numeric keypad is added. It enables easily reply on the go with push mail and IM. It boasts a high resolution 3.2 MP camera adjacent with LED flash for capturing high resolution images and it also records acceptable quality video. It also includes proximity and motion sensor.
It has a 3.5 mm Audio Jack, USB v2.0, Bluetooth, microSD card slot, GPRS, WAP, MMS, EDGE and PC sync as connectivity options. Memory can be expanded up to 16 GB via memory card. Mobile tracker, video wallpapers, dual torch, Phonebook and SMS Backup, support for Java apps and PC Sync are some other features of the handset.
