There have been lots of rumors suggesting that Motorola is planning to launch an ‘HD’ version of the RAZR M model. Dubbed as Motorola Droid Razr M HD, this new smartphone is believed to have upgraded specs compared to its predecessor. Recently, the folks over at PhoneArena have revealed the alleged specs of the rumored Motorola Droid RAZR M HD handset. As per the leaked specs, the Motorola Droid Razr M HD device will feature a 4.5 inch HD capacitive, multi-touch display with 1280 x 720 pixels of resolution and 326 ppi pixel density.
Under the hood, the device might feature a 1.5GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM. The rumors also claim that the handset will run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean at release, which could be later updated to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean version. The device might offer 16 GB of inbuilt memory. Plus, it will support microSD card slot for memory expansion of up to 32 GB. It is also being said that the Droid Razr M HD smartphone would come along with proximity sensor, light sensor and scratch resistant glass protection.
One of the most impressive features expected in the RAZR M HD phone is the massive battery. As per the rumors, the device will sport a 3300 mAh battery, which can deliver around 21.25 hours of talk time and 15 days of standby time. Hence, most likely the RAZR M HD would be taller and wider than the RAZR M handset, so as to contain larger battery as well as larger display. The rumors say that the RAZR M HD device would measure 5.15 x 2.52 x 0.035 inches in dimension and around 5.22 oz in weight.
So far, Motorola has not made any official announcement about Droid Razr M HD’s existence. Thus, all we can do is, wait for Motorola to reveal the smartphone officially. Even though, there is no confirmed launch or release date, it is expected that this new Motorola smartphone will be unveiled at the MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2013 in the month of February.
