A new model has been presented recently by Samsung at Developer Conference in San Francisco. This new model is named as GT-I9500 and codenamed as Fraser. This Smartphone was given to use to the people who attended the conference. The device will be powered by Tizen Larkspur SLP 2.0 OS, which makes it the first Smartphone of Samsung to run on Tizen. Tizen is a new operating system made by Panasonic, Intel and Samsung. Tizen may be a competitor of Android OS in future. It is expected that Samsung Fraser will be available in third quarter of 2012.

Samsung Fraser features 4.6-inch Super AMOLED Plus HD display with 16M Colors and a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels just like the Samsung Galaxy S III. The phone measures 153.9 x 76.36 x 14.8 mm and will be available in black color. There is a round home/menu button identical to the iPhone. It sports 2MP front facing camera and 8MP rear camera with autofocus and LED Flash. It has 1GB RAM, Samsung Exynos C210 Dual-core ARM Cortex A9 1,2GHz and 16GB internal storage. Users are able to enjoy various formats (MP3, AAC+ and AAC) and video formats (MPEG4, H264 and H263).
Connectivity features of this Smartphone are Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS with A-GPS navigation, microUSB 2.0 and much more. The device is equipped with NFC, AllShare Play and all the famous social networking services like Twitter, MSN, Yahoo, Facebook, AOL, YouYube, Google, Picasa, etc. It has sensors like accelerometer, digital compass and proximity. Other features of the phone are USB 2.0, 3.5mm Audio Jack, 1750 mAh, Webkit browse and Kies Air.
