The manufacturers are lining up with their best devices at the upcoming IFA 2012 show in Berlin, Germany. With Samsung, all set to reveal its new device named Galaxy Note II, Sony is also gearing up for the release of its Android based devices in the Xperia lineup. The actual image of Xperia ST26i was leaked two months ago, and it has made a comeback again. As per the data emerged on the Indonesian Postel site, Sony Xperia is all set to announce its new device named Sony Xperia J ST26i, though there is no information regarding the announce date.

The upcoming image shows that the handset will be offered in three colors – white, black and pink. Xperia J ST26i will be the Sony’s first device, which will not have the Samsung Ericsson logo. Meanwhile, by having a look at the image, Sony logo appears in the front and the word XPERIA has been found at the back of the device. It is suspected that, the device will sport a 4 inch FWVGA display offering a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. Three capacitive buttons are found below the screen of the handset. It is expected that the Xperia J ST26i will run on a single-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (MSM7627A chipset).
Sony Xperia J ST26i will get Android 4.0.4 ICS as its Operating System. The handset might have storage of 8GB along with 512MB of RAM. The device will have a 5 megapixel sensor with an HD video recording capability along with LED flash. The power button and the volume control button are found on the phone’s upper right side. The handset might include features like the 3G with HSPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. This mid level device is likely to be revealed along with the other handsets such as the Hayabusa phones and Mint at the IFA event.
