Sony Xperia Miro is another stylish smartphone in the Xperia series. Recently announced smartphone will be powered by the latest version of the Android platform i.e. Ice Cream Sandwich. Packed with amazing set of features, the Xperia Miro will come in four different trendy and eye-catching colors like black, black & pink, white & silver, and white & gold. Unfortunately, Sony has not revealed any info about the price and availability of the Xperia Miro yet. However, it is highly expected to be launched soon during the third quarter of this year 2012.
The Xperia Miro is indeed a stylish social phone as it will be fully integrated with Facebook features. Beneath the display of the phone, there will an illumination system that will notify you of missed calls, incoming messages, Facebook updates, etc. with the help of notification light. You will be also able to choose light intervals and different colors for different types of notification as you want. Plus, the device will support xLOUD audio technology that ensures enhanced audio experience with loud and crisp sound. The Miro users will also be able to enjoy millions of songs on demand via Music Unlimited.
The Xperia Miro will sport a 3.5 inch capacitive touchscreen display with 320 x 480 pixels of resolution. Under the hood, the device will have single-core 800MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 processor along with 512 MB of RAM. Moreover, the Xperia will offer 2 GB of built-in storage capacity which can be further expanded up to 32 GB with the help of Miro SD card slot. The device will be equipped with a 5 MP camera along with features like LED flash, auto focus and 4x digital zoom. Plus, there will be a 0.3 MP front facing camera for video chat.
The Xperia Miro users will be able to enjoy the content on a bigger screen by easily connecting the smartphone to the TV via DLNA. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth 2.0, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, and HSPA+ support. Other features for entertainment purpose includes FM Radio, 3.5 mm audio jack, document viewer, voice memo, photo viewer/editor, audio player, video player, etc. The device will be powered by a 1500 mAh battery, which will give talk time of six hours and standby time of 22 days. Above all, the stylish Xperia Miro will be quite comfortable to carry as it will measure just 113 x 59 x 9.9mm in dimension and weigh merely 110g. Clove, the British retailer, has already started taking pre-orders for Xperia Miro for a very reasonable price of £126 ($197).
