The big question for buyers, whether they should go with the iPhone 4S which is doing enormously well in the market or wait (about 8 months) for the iPhone 5? This new device will be extremely thin, come without a SIM-card and grabs data directly from a 4G LTE network, LED-powered and colored edges; probably, all these brilliant features enable phone enough to make you wait. But the most interesting thing is that the new device has one…two…threeeee; yes, it will be equipped with three Retina Display screens!

Retina Display allows everything you see or do on iPhone look amazing. It helps in seeing, more Wow per inch; it means it can give 326 pixels into a single square inch. Generally, your eye is unable to distinguish individual pixels like images in games, movies, photos pop off the screen and importantly, text in web pages and email. But Retina display’s pixel density is so high that makes you enable to see everything much sharper.
This time rumor suggests that iPhone 5 will make debut for the edge-to-edge Retina Display screen to give Apple a definite edge over other Android phones. As iPhone 4S already sports a Retina display, considering this, there is nothing wrong in expecting Retina Display with the iPhone 5. There are more chances that Apple replaces the qHD Retina Display with a TrueHD. Ultra-high resolution Retina IPS LED-backlit display which can come with 2048 x 1536 pixel resolutions at 264 pixels per inch, is already equipped with the iPad3. So, we can assume that iPhone 5′s TrueHD Retina display (with 326 pixels into a single square inch) will give the serious competition to the Android and Windows heavyweights such as Galaxy Nexus, Samsung Galaxy Note, Droid Razr Maxx and HTC Titan, which already flaunt a standard screen size of 4.3-inches or bigger.
As we said earlier, it will come with three Retina Display separate screens; one small rectangular strip on the top to display network info, clocks, notifications and so on. When it comes to the small rectangular strip on the bottom, it is for App dock, multitasking panel and so on. Usually, the large middle-screen is the working-screen merely for the desktop to have more space and more freedom. The New iPhone 5 is the latest concept design of an Italian designer who has a good reputation in designing Apple-like stuff. As per the flying rumors, it is considered as a concept model shown off by design website ADR Studio.
Bombshell statement (as per the South Korean media report), Apple’s upcoming iPhone 5 will have a large 4.6-inch Retina display, which will be almost a third bigger screen. This time, Apple has been rumored to introduce a larger phone with the retina display as well. However, there’s no guarantee that these rumors are true, Apple has started placing orders for the larger screen to its suppliers, according to the Maeil Business Newspaper.
Earlier, Apple had specifically declared that 3.5 inches display screen is an optimum size for one-handed use touch screens. Afterwards, every version of iPhone had a 3.5 inches display screen compared to the previous one, including the latest release i.e. iPhone 4S. Having a larger screen/display on the next generation iPhone does not mean that things look bigger in it and easily browsing only. But this time it is expected that Apple want to give a tough fight to Samsung Galaxy S2 and flagship Galaxy Nexus by Google as both of these have display size of 4.6 inches.
At first, iPad 3 featured a nearly 10-inch retina display, then after 3.5-inch retina display featured in the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. Here, it is necessary to mention that existing iPhone 4S screen come with good Retina Display pixel density but measures 3.5-inches only due to which it look a bit cramped when compared to the rest of the major high-end smartphones on the market now. Thus, we can assume that Apple also has entered the same league just because of the display sizes of Android SmartPhones have been ever-increasing with some or the other model entering into the market.
In reality, the iPhone has topped the cell phone industry since 2007, along with the cutting edge technology of Retina Display. There is no doubt in that the iPhone impressed their fans with a higher-def screen, but the bigger drawback to the iPhone was its small screen size. This should be the actual reason for why Apple’s next iPhone will spawn-up with a 4.6 inches larger screen size.
