All the mobile operators whether it is Airtel, BSNL, Idea, Aircel or Reliance are trying hard to provide the best 3G tariff plans to their customers. Vodafone is not left behind in this scenario. The company has recently launched attractive and competitive tariffs for 3G data plans to make its position strong in the 3G market. The company becomes the 4th telecom service provider followed by Airtel, Idea and Reliance to cut rates for 3G services. The company has reduced the 3G rates up to 80%.
These new tariffs for 3G data plans of Vodafone are also recognized as Pay As You Go (PAYG). The 3G data plans cost range from just Rs 25 for 25 MB data usage to Rs 1,599 for 12 GB data usage. The validity period of each and every plan is different. On all the plans, users are liable to pay 2p/10kb for using data after the fixed data usage. Other mobile operators charge 3p/10kb from the customers for using data beyond the stipulated data usage. No extra charge will be charged to the users for roaming on data usage.
During on-net roaming, users are able to use data from their bundle package in any place in India without extra charges. The data plans may differ slightly in all the circles. Compared to 3G tariffs offered by Reliance, Airtel and Idea, Vodafone 3G tariffs are much cheaper in many cases. The company has launched these plans in order to make a foundation for offering a 3G data plan for everybody.
