Recently a slightly snarled image of the Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone has been leaked online to the polish website called OPDA. The leaked picture shows a handset remarkably similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note with one notable change being the oversized rectangular home button. In the leaked image, five rows of icons can also be seen on the screen as in the Galaxy Note. The images of the icons have been blurred.
With a curved back and a wider edge-to-edge display, the handset looks extremely thin. Previous reports have suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S III may land with a 1.5GHz quad core Samsung Exynos processor and Google’s latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. The handset may boast a 4.8 inch display with 1080 pixel Full HD resolution and an aspect ratio of 16:9. It looks like Samsung’s logo is too close to the top of the screen.
The handset is rumored to have a ceramic body with an 8 megapixel rear facing camera and a 2 megapixel front facing camera for video chats. The device is expected to support Wi-Fi with DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct, 3G and 4G LTE network. As per the reports by Twitter, major telecom carriers have already pre ordered 10 million units of the Galaxy S 3. Any of the details have not been confirmed officially, so there is a high probability of all this information being fake.
