Samsung is expected to launch one more Android phone named Jasper with model number SCH-i200. Moreover, there are chances that Samsung will launch SCH-i200 along with the much awaited Galaxy S3. The Pocketnow folks have discovered the ‘Jasper’ from the Bluetooth SIG’s site. Afterwars, using its model number they were able to get some more information about the mystery phone from the GLBenchmark website. It is expected that the SCH-i200 will be bound for US mobile carrier – Verizon wireless. The posting in the benchmark also revealed few of the phone’s specifications.

Samsung SCH-i200 may run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Operating System. Like AT&T HTC One X, also the SCH-i200 may be powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm SnapDragon S4 processor. The SnapDragon S4 processor gives a hint that the SCH-i200 is going to have 4G LTE support. This processor is one of the fastest processor available on the market which put the mystery phone in the high-end device category. It may support a WVGA display with 800 x 400 pixels of resolution. However, there is no information about the display size.
These rumors about its display and processor show that the SCH-i200 may have an unusual combination of high end specs and low end specs. Hence, we can expect that Jasper will enter the market as a budget friendly but powerful model. Other than these few specifications, there are no other details about the price or availability of Samsung SCH-i200. As per the latest rumors, the SCH-i200 is already in testing process by Verizon. Therefore, we can expect that Samsung will announce the SCH-i200 very soon in the coming weeks.
